Million Laughs News Archives

Million Laughs has been asked to do the Library Lock-In again this summer (see the email message below.)

This is a fun show for 20-30 Junior High School-ers (ages 12-15, both boys and girls.)  The idea is that the kids spend the night at the La Habra Library, doing various activities.  The ML Comedy Show would be one of those activities.

If you are interested in performing in this show, please contact Will Morton.

Dear Will,

How would Million Laughs feel about doing the Lock In again this year?  We're going to be here all night on Friday, July 22nd and we'd love to have you with us.  We can make your portion earlier in the evening.  Let me know what you think.

Million Laughs will be returning to the Allen House Alcohol/Drug Rehabilitation facility of L.A. CADA (Council for Alcohol and Drug Abuse) located at 10425 S. Painter (near Telegraph) in Santa Fe Springs Sat. 5/28 at 7:00 PM.  (This is Memorial Day Weekend.)

Million Laughs will be doing monthly shows at the Park Regency Convalescent Home, 1700 West La Habra Boulevard in La Habra.  Shows will be on Friday at 7:00 PM in the dining room, and the audience will be Senior Citizens, age 70+.

Million Laughs did a show at the Family Foundations of L.A. CADA (Council for Alcohol and Drug Abuse) located at 11121 Bloomfield (between Florence and Imperial) in Santa Fe Springs Sat. 4/23 at 7:00 PM.  [Please note: this is a prison facility.]

Million Laughs did a show at the L.A. CADA (Council for Alcohol and Drug Abuse) halfway house for Alcohol/Drug Rehabilitation 10425 S. Painter (near Telegraph) in Santa Fe Springs Sat. 3/26 at 7:00 PM.  (The night before Easter!)

Sherry Kay's television debut was on Channel 7: ABC's Cool Kids (part of the News) aired Thurs. 3/17 at 4:00 PM (St. Patrick's Day!) and repeated Sun. 3/20 at 9:00 AM.

ABC had to postpone filming Sherry Kay for ABC's Cool Kids, due to "breaking news" to which all film crews were re-assigned.  (But what news could possibly have been more important than a Million Laughs show???)

They actually came to the City of Hope show Friday 3/11.

Please note:  due to renovations, the City of Hope shows will be suspended indefinitely after March 11, 2005.
